Old Orthodox Church, one most uncommon in its design by being wider than longer, and built in some interesting manner, is also one of our goals.

DAY 2 - Sarajevo Total Siege Tour

sarajevoOur tour will start with a visit to War Tunnel Museum - Tunnel of Hope, which was the major "blood line" for heavily Sieged and destroyed city. At the Tunnel we shall see a short movie about the War in Sarajevo and Tunnel, followed by going through the Tunnel itself. At the exhibitional part of the museum we shall have the opportunity to see many interesting exhibits directly connected with Siege of Sarajevo. After the Tunnel we head toward the mountain Trebević, which by vast majority of its length was a first line during the Siege and place of many battles on many battlefields. The tour is very much enriched with great panorama views, especially from the very top of Trebević mountain.

DAY 3 - Mostar Day Tour

The tour will start with early departure from Sarajevo towards Mostar, where we shall spent the majority of the day. On our ride to Mostar, we shall go through Konjic, Jablanica, Neretva valley together with Jablaničko Lake, and if required.

mostarOnce we have arrived to Mostar we our aim is Old Town to see the Old Bridge and the Old Town of Mostar. Alongside the bridge, at the Old Town you can have a look at nice bazaars, mosques, souvenir shops, beautyness and greenness of Neretva river and much more. Free time around Mostar is very much welcomed so that your guide can have a few hours or minutes of Mostar enjoyment at his own.  Once we have "tasted" Mostar itself we move on Toward the Počitelj. The city first time mentioned in 1444, and very well known as the main target of many artists, especially those dealing with colors.  Blagaj and river Buna cave spring there. One of the greatest European river springs, with approximate depth of 90 meters and water power of 30m3/s. The whole complex is exceptional, but Tekke built just next to the spring gives it additional value. The Tekke (building designed specifically for gatherings of a Sufi brotherhood or lodge for dervishes) was built in 16th century and today is one of rare preserved ones in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

DAY 4 - Dubrovnik

dubrovnik

We recommend you our city tour with fantastic panoramic views of Dubrovnik, its surroundings and Dalmatian coast. On your way you will stop at best view points. Highest point on the way will be Srd hill (415 meters above Dubrovnik Old Town). The mountain of Srd used to be a protector of the city against several attackers throughout history. Its slopes were once covered by oak trees called Dubrava which gave a name to the city. It was exactly here where in 1990s war the front line was located. Since September 2010 there has been a cable car route running here. From the top of the Srd mountain you can enjoy a great panoramic view over Dubrovnik, Zupa Dubrovacka valley and even some Adriatic islands like Lokrum and Elaphite. On the way back you will be amazed by unique, breathtaking view of Dubrovnik opening right in front of your eyes. You will start discovering Dubrovnik’s Old Town by taking a walk down the Stradun (Placa Street). On our way you will see: Francisian and Dominican monastery, Sponza Palace, St. Blaise Church, Rector's Palace, Cathedral, Old harbour, Old City Walls and much more.

DAY 5 - Travnik - Vlašić

travnik

Travnik is located in the valley of the Lasva River and bordered by Vlasic Mountain to the north and Mount Vilenica to the south. The valley appeared in 1244, in terms of primary historical records, when the Hungarian King Bela IV gave one of his notables a piece of land in Lasva. By that time, the area was a feudal estate of the Bosnian state.  Although remains from these centuries do not show the wealth the valley had known in Roman times, the era did have its share of castles and mansions. The Travnik Fortress was the most impressive fortress at the time, and still stands out as the best preserved of them all. This era gave Travnik its name.  The Ottoman era renewed the glory of Travnik. It was the principal city and military centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina It was from here that the Ottomans planed their invasions further towards the southwest. They brought mosques, religious schools, roads and water systems. They fortified the medieval fortress and built a mini-city within its high stone walls. For over 150 years, the vizier - the Ottoman Sultan's representative in Bosnia - had his headquarters in this town, attracting both consulates and trade. Travelers visiting Travnik in this era were impressed by the town and called it the European Istanbul and the most oriental town in Bosnia. Nobel-prize winner’s Ivo Andrić's brilliant 'Travnik Chornicle' gives you a feel of this period.

DAY 6 - Jajce

jajce

For hundreds of years this region was the ultimate stronghold of the Bosnian Kingdom, with town of Jajce as permanent seat of the last kings of Bosnian Kingdom. The entire region of Jajce is rich in natural heritage that cannot be viewed in isolation from the built heritage. In Jajce, these two components are closely intermingled, creating a fascinating tourist attraction. Beside the rich and robust historical and cultural heritage and surrounding nature, there is one thing in specific that makes Jajce one of the “must see” sights in the entire country: at the confluence with river Vrbas, Pliva River forms a magnificent 22 meters high Pliva Waterfall in Jajce

DAY 7 and 8 - Bihać - Una National Park

bihac
